The Details
Lyocell is what separates this collection from everything else in the line. It is a cellulose fiber made from wood pulp in a closed-loop process where the solvent is captured and reused rather than discharged. What matters for a towel is how it behaves: lyocell has a smooth fiber surface, moves moisture quickly, and unlike most plant fibers it holds its strength when wet. Since a towel spends its whole working life wet and then goes through a hot wash while still wet, that wet strength translates directly into a towel that survives commercial laundering.
